Ashmead Pringle, President - Ash founded Grain Service Corporation in 1984, and is head of GSC Energy, its energy division, which was started in 1989. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Ash has conducted hundreds of seminars on hedging, risk management, and basis trading, in petroleum, natural gas, and grains, and is a recognized expert in the field. He has authored several articles on the proper use of risk management tools.
Diana Klemme, Vice President, Director-Grain Division - Diana leads an experienced staff that develops merchandising and risk-management programs for GSC's agricultural clients. She also oversees the firm's nationally-known agricultural workshops on hedging, merchandising, and producer marketing strategies. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University, and worked in the cash grain industry through the 70's. Diana is a well-known author of articles on agricultural risk management, and is a leading and long-time advocate of issues affecting the grain industry. She served on National Grain & Feed Association's Executive Committee and currently serves on their Risk Management Committee, which she formerly chaired.
Scott Glasing, Director of Operations, Margins, and Compliance - Scott brings us 25 years of industry expertise, concentrated in back office operations and compliance. A native of Chicago, he has studied finance and economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and hedging at the Chicago Board of Trade.
Bill Bill Lettunich, Senior Agribusiness Hedging Advisor - Bill brings us over 25 years of agribusiness and hedging experience. He was a former floor trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in the 1980's and is an experienced farmer. He has also started and managed feedlot, stocker cattle, produce, and trucking companies over the last 17 years. He has a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University and speaks both English and Spanish.
Tom Tom Fernandes, Director of Financial Products - Tom attended the State University of New York at Geneseo and has an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University. He has over nine years of institutional trading experience on both the buy and sell side with such firms as Spear, Leeds & Kellogg, Fleet Bank of Boston , West Broadway Partners and Grain Service Corp. Tom specializes in cash and derivative arbitrage, fundamental analysis and commodity finance.
Kathrine Katherine Ledgerwood, Trading Associate - Katherine comes to us from Northeast Indiana after having graduated from Purdue University's College of Agriculture in 2007. She holds degrees in both Animal Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics. She's the main Order Desk operator and works closely with Scott in the upkeep of trades as well as working with clients regarding risk management analysis and trade strategy.
Cooper Latham Cooper Latham, IT - Cooper is our resident IT specialist. Cooper graduated from Georgia College & State University with a B.B.A in Management Information Systems. He overhauled, redesigned, and now maintains the new and improved grainservice.com. Cooper also sets up and maintains all office technology.
